Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt ("(500) Days of Summer") is among the 13 artists from six countries chosen to take part in New Frontier at the Sundance Film Festival’s 2010 edition.
A fully immersive media lounge environment will present a collection of digital art, film screenings, multimedia performances, site-specific installations and video presentations.
The 2010 New Frontier program will feature artists Nao Bustamante (U.S.), Gina Czarnecki (United Kingdom), Petko Dourmana (Bulgaria), Jens Franke and Thomas Gläser (Germany), Gordon-Levitt (U.S.), Eric Gradman (U.S.), Michael Joaquin Grey (U.S.), Ragnar Kjartansson (Iceland), Kalup Linzy (U.S.), Matthew Moore (U.S.), Pipilotti Rist (Switzerland) and Tracey Snelling (U.S.).
Sundance Film Festival senior programmer Shari Frilot said the works can be experienced at New Frontier on Main, open to the public from Jan.
