EC Comics Revival Introduces 3 New Horror Hosts in the Tradition of the Crypt-Keeper | Exclusive

These ghouls guide readers through an update on the 1950s home of “Tales From the Crypt” and other boundary-pushing genre stories

The relaunched EC Comics’ horror anthology series “Epitaphs From the Abyss” will introduce three new horror hosts, TheWrap can exclusively reveal, filling the shoes of horror icon the Crypt-Keeper. The three hosts, designed by artist Dustin Weaver, are the Grave-Digger, the Tormentor and the Grim Inquisitor, helping Oni Press to introduce the horror arm of their revived EC Comics imprint.

“We’ll have the Grave-Digger setting the stage,” Oni Press editor-in-chief Sierra Hahn told TheWrap, “but with a little bit of that fun EC edge that’s a little bit dark, that’s a little bit playful.” The first issue begins with the premise that “every tombstone tells a tale,” the Grave-Digger leading the way.

    No thanks. Political facism and far left infoganda in comics is a bad idea. Introducing gender deviants to kids to sell them a lifetime of pills for hormones and mental health pills isn’t entertaining and it’s far darker than any of the cool creepy horror stories from the og series which wasn’t overcome by Marxist deviants trying to normalize pills to kids and deviant behavior and equating that to civil rights of blacks in the 50s is myopic and racist to even make that comparison and an insult to the sacrifices made by minorities being the victims of the same political liberals leftists that claim to be their saviors while they demand their own ability which is racism. There is no protest of someone’s race. That’s just a media and social media  magnifying hate against Jews because the dems have a one party control of both like the nazis and push political active measures and racism against Israel because they are getting paid by china and the Muslim brotherhood which is Hamas. Trying to spin the racist anti semetic left while using the word progressive is a blatant lie and don’t believe the deception whether in a comic book or whether it’s from a Chinese communist partnered company like Disney and Apple both are.
