Halyna Hutchins’ Family Sues Alec Baldwin for Playing ‘Russian Roulette With a Loaded Gun’ on ‘Rust’

“Injury or death was much more than just a possibility — it was a likely result,” the late cinematographer’s mother, father, sister and a script supervisor claim

Alec Baldwin is facing yet another lawsuit for his actions on the set of western drama “Rust” that resulted in the death of Halyna Hutchins — this time, once again from the late cinematographer’s family.

In a Wednesday civil suit obtained by TheWrap, Hutchins’ mother Olga Solovey, father Anatolii Androsovych, sister Svetlana Zemko and “Rust” script supervisor Mamie Mitchell accused the actor and producer — amongst many others involved — of intentional and/or negligent acts on Oct. 21, 2021, in New Mexico.

“Baldwin chose to play Russian Roulette with a loaded gun without checking it and without having the armorer do so,” the suit claims.

    What needs to be considered is the fact that any studio would give the green light to a reality show featuring him while an ACTIVE legal situation is still taking place. Like seriously, how tone deaf can you be? A woman lost her life, left behind a husband and child, but let’s celebrate this guy and his brood because why? Their lack of using birth control? Because honestly, is their life really that interesting? He only came back into the public eye after he killed that poor woman. He hasn’t had a hit in years.

    It was literally HER job to ensure the safety and proper handling of the gun and ammo….who loaded the live bullet, who handed the ” not a gun expert” the live ammo loaded guns. Jesus do you blame for food poisoning or the chef? She has one job and a young mother is dead because the Nepo baby didn’t do her job.
